What brands do you use?
I’m an exclusively cruelty-free makeup artist so I only use products that haven’t been tested on animals (neither have their ingredients). I love to use a mixture of Charlotte Tilbury, Hourglass, NUDE STIX, MAKEUP BY MARIO, NYX, Barry M, NARS and Glossier to name a few.
How do I know you’re the right bridal makeup artist for me?
I recommend looking through my portfolio to get an idea of my style. You can also follow me on Instagram, as well as read my reviews on Facebook and Google.
If you would like to talk on the phone prior to booking me, please send me an email via the Contact Me page and we can arrange a convenient time to talk. I think that the more communication we have ahead of your wedding day - the better the results are on the day.
What happens at my bridal make up trial?
Trials usually take place at my home studio in Cheltenham. For a makeup only trial I recommend allowing 1.5 hours.
Prior to your bridal makeup trial we will have a zoom consultation, this allows me to ask if you have any skin sensitivities, for us to talk through details of your wedding day (for example what is your dress like, hair, flowers, bridesmaid dresses etc) and, most importantly, for me to ask you about the level of makeup you are comfortable wearing on a daily basis.
What happens on my wedding morning?
Ahead of your wedding morning you will have received your makeup schedule from me. I usually have you ready at least 1 hour prior to your ceremony time. I recreate your bridal make-up look from the images that we took at your trial, my own detailed notes, and any feedback you may have given me to ensure that you feel and look as beautiful as possible on your wedding day. I stay until you leave for your ceremony for any last-minute touch ups.
